We operate under the principles of Fair Trade. It's not about volume or bottom line; it's about supporting local artisans, preserving traditions, and favoring cultural exchanges.
WHAT WE DO
Pellicanò Distribution was created to help export pure maple syrup produced by small artisans in Ontario, Canada to the South of France. Likewise, it imports chestnuts and chestnut butter from small artisans in France to the Southern Ontario and Canadian market in general.
We work closely with each artisan, to promote their family-farmed and traditionally crafted gourmet food products to restaurant chefs, fine food stores and local markets, so that their small businesses can be discovered and appreciated overseas.
We hope to welcome you to our family of artisans and fine food lovers.

Do you accept new artisans?
Absolutely!
We are currently testing other fine products from Italy, such as bergamot products from Reggio Calabria, and we're looking to expand our product line with other Canadian and European collaborations.

Do you offer in-store sampling?
Yes! And it's free!

Is there a minimum order for chestnut products?
For initial orders from retailers, this is up for discussion; for ulterior orders, whole boxes of 12 are required.
Is there a minimum order for maple syrup?
For initial orders from retailers, this is up for discussion; for ulterior orders, whole boxes of 6 for the 1-litre format, or 12 for all other formats are required.
I am a consumer; can I buy directly?
Contact us to direct you to the closest retailer or to suggest a new one in your neighborhood.
Do you work with distribution chains or private label?
Yes, given the appropriate volume commitment Pellicanò can be your "personal shopper" in France, Italy or Canada. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
